Marjorie Huffman Obituary

GIRARD - Marjorie R. Huffman, 81, left in peaceful sleep in the early morning hours of Friday, March 22, 2019, at her home.

Marjorie was raised in nearby Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, and moved to the Youngstown area after she married. Prior to her marriage, she worked in the secular world and later returned to the work-a-day world after her children were grown and her husband took ill.

Marjorie was widowed in 1993 and remained so until her passing. After a 33-year long marriage, she created a wonderful living legacy of four children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves an elder sister and a younger brother.

Marjorie was a fantastic cook, homemaker, and caregiver to her husband and children. The legacy of lives she created will go on in testimony of her important existence. From her life, came new life, and from her death, a deeper appreciation for that life; a debt that can never be repaid, only paid forward. She will be deeply missed.

Time is a great teacher that eventually kills its students. May we never waste that time.

“Rest in peace, mom.”
