GIRARD - Marie Lee Harver, 91, passed away early Friday afternoon, Nov. 9, 2018, at Liberty Health Care.
Marie was born Dec. 17, 1926, in Youngstown, and was the daughter of the late Michael and Maggie Siljak Vukich Miller.
She was a member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church in Youngstown, and of many of its organizations, including the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild, the Altar & Rosary Society, and she was past-president of an organization in the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown. Marie was also a member of CFU Lodge No. 66, and of the Od Srca Tamburitzans.
Marie’s husband, Edward Harver Sr., whom she married Dec. 8, 1962, passed away May 8, 1989.
Mrs. Harver leaves a sister, Milli Jaronieski of Altoona, Pa.; daughters Charlene Harrison (Marge Bartram) of Akron, Karen Harrison (Karen Giffen), of Cleveland Heights, and Becky Harver DeFrank of Atlanta; a granddaughter, Christina Davis; grandsons, Bobby Harrison, David (Gloria) Harrison, and Matthew (Katie) Harrison; great-grandchildren, Ellen, Sabrina, Oliver, Taylor, and Elijah; and stepdaughters, Sandra Harver and Stephanie Szoke.
Besides her husband, a son, Charles Robert Harrison; brothers Pete Vukich, Stanley Miller, Bob Miller, and Paul Miller; sisters Carolyn Mullen, Lillian Lawson, Ann Daniels, and Rose Davis; stepsons Edward Jr. and William Harver; and a brother-in-law, Ed Jaronieski, are deceased.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 222 S. State Street, Girard, where a memorial service will take place at 5:30 p.m.
Marie’s family would like to thank the staff with Liberty Healthcare Center and Hospice of the Valley, for the kindness shown and care given to Mrs. Harver and her family.
