Marianne Snyder

GIRARD – Marianne Snyder, 58, passed away peacefully, Saturday morning, Nov. 19, 2016, at her home, following a courageous battle with ALS and Lyme disease.

Marianne was born Jan. 31, 1958, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late George and Anna Hillman Schuster, and was a lifelong area resident.

She was a 1976 graduate of Girard High School and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Youngstown State University.

Marianne worked for 10 years as a case manager at Fairhaven Workshop with the Trumbull County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

She greatly enjoyed cross-stitching, arts and crafts, cooking, baking, playing Yahtzee, and listening, singing and dancing to her son’s band music. Most importantly, Marianne will always be remembered as devoting her adult life to raising and caring for her family and truly enjoyed the time she spent with them. 

Marianne leaves a daughter, Amy (Bryan) Clare of Painesville; a son, Kyle (Jade) Pascarella of Girard; five grandchildren, Ashley, Adam, Brandon, Topher, and Quinley; and a sister, Lorrie Schuster of Girard.

Besides her parents, an infant brother, David, and an infant son, Scott, preceded Marianne in death.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, Nov. 21, at Kinnick Funeral Home 222 S. State St., Girard.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Belmont Park Cemetery.
