Lori Scott

AUSTINTOWN - Lori Scott, 54, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at her home, after a courageous battle with COPD.

Lori was born Oct. 13, 1963, in Youngstown, a daughter of Carl and Anna Morris Jenkins, and was a lifelong area resident.

Mrs. Scott was a 1980 graduate of Fitch High School, and became a homemaker who dedicated the remainder of her life to raising and caring for her family. She especially enjoyed the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Lori attended Redeemer Lutheran Church in Austintown.

She leaves her husband of 36 years, Robert G. Scott, whom she married March 27, 1982; her son, Jason (Lori) Scott of Austintown; her daughter, Tara Scott (John Carson) of Youngstown; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Nevaeh, Nolan, Noah, and Jonathan; her parents, Carl and Anna of Austintown; and two sisters, Millie Dodds and Suzanne Murphy, both of Austintown.

A brother-in-law, Michael Murphy, is deceased.

Family and friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a memorial service will take place at 6:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to help Lori’s family with final expenses.
