Helen Vesco-Hoza Obituary
GIRARD - Helen A. Vesco-Hoza, 80, passed away peacefully Friday evening, April 20, 2018, at Liberty Health Care Center.
Helen was born May 21, 1937, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Antonio and Rose Colapietro Vesco.
She was a graduate of Girard High School, and moved to California where she worked for Southern California Electric for over 30 years.
Helen retired to Las Vegas, and then returned to the Youngstown area in 2015.
Mrs. Hoza was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Girard.
Helen greatly enjoyed playing bingo. She also volunteered for 17 years with the St. Therese Center in Henderson, Nev.
Her husband, John Hoza, passed away in 2000.
Mrs. Hoza leaves to cherish her memory two sisters, Mary Sentich and Barbara (Robert) Kuzman, each of Girard; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Besides her husband, five brothers and sisters, Josephine Sgambati, Kay Secola, Jack Vesco, Carmel Mikulich, and James Vesco, preceded Helen in death.
Per Helen’s request there will be no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 222 S. State St., Girard.
