YOUNGSTOWN – Diane L. Kurtiak Sebest, 67, passed away peacefully Friday evening, Nov. 2, 2018, at Hospice House.
Diane was born Oct. 24, 1951, in Youngstown, a daughter of John and Theda Cleland Kurtiak, and spent her life in this area.
She was a graduate of Brookfield High School, and worked for 44 years for the Northside Medical Center in Youngstown.
Diane attended St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church in Austintown.
She loved animals, especially her dog, Winston, and she loved the time she spent with family and friends.
Diane leaves her mother, Theda Kurtiak, and a sister, Susan Kurtiak, with whom she shared her home, and her fiancé, Keith Depp of Boardman.
Her husband, Steve Sebest, whom she married Nov. 22, 1980, passed away Nov. 1, 2005. Her father, and a brother, John Kurtiak Jr., are also deceased.
Family and friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 8, at St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, on the northeast corner of Kirk and Raccoon Roads in Austintown, where a funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m.
Interment will follow the church service and will be at Belmont Park Cemetery in Liberty Township, where Diane will be laid to rest next to her husband.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd. Youngstown.
