AUSTINTOWN – Angela M. Dutcher, 76, passed away Monday evening, May 7, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, following a brief illness.
Angela was born Oct. 28, 1941, in Cincinnati, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Dorothea Knese Surman, and was a 1959 graduate of South High School in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Angela came to the Youngstown area in the early 1970’s, and worked for over 16 years at Youngstown State University in the administration offices.
Mrs. Dutcher was of the Catholic faith.
Her husband, Wayne E. “Dutch” Dutcher, passed away in August of 2002.
Angela leaves a brother John A. (Phyllis) Surman of Kenosha, Wisc.; a sister Mary Ellen McConnell of Clearville, Pa.; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Besides her husband, a brother, Richard B. Surman, and two sisters, Erma Jean Sumney and Barbara N. Ravenholt, preceded Angela in death.
Per Angela’s request there will be no services or calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Surman family, care of Mary Ellen McConnell, 2278 Ragged Mountain Rd., Clearville, PA 15535, to help with final expenses.
