YOUNGSTOWN - Albert D. “Al” Bisker, 80, passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 9, 2019, at his home with family by his side.
Al was born Sept. 13, 1938, in Youngstown, a son of the late John and Mary Goncy Bisker, and lived his life in this area.
He was a 1956 graduate of Chaney High School and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps between the Korean and Vietnam Wars.
Al worked for 35 years at the Chrysler Plant in Twinsburg, retiring in 1992 as a foreman.
He was a member of the Marine Corps League and a member of CWV John J. Buckley Post, No. 1292, where he was a past commander.
Al was an avid golfer and golfed in the CWV Golf League, where he was a past secretary. He enjoyed hunting, and never gave up on the Cleveland Browns until his dying day.
Mr. Bisker was of the Catholic faith.
Al is survived by his wife, Betty J. Hibbard Bisker, whom he married Feb. 5, 1992; three daughters, Tammy Bisker of Austintown, Terri (Robert) Morton of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Judy (Ken) Schenker of Canfield; a brother, George (JoAnn) Bisker of Niles; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A son, Albert D. Bisker Jr. and a brother, John Bisker, are deceased.
Family and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 12, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m.
Interment will take place at a later date at Columbiana Cemetery.
