Dear Burin family. I only recently found out about Scottie's passing. Please accept my condolences.

Scott and I were fraternity brothers at the Univ of Miami. Scott was an usher at my wedding in 1982. I was an usher at his wedding to Dorene. We lost touch after my active military service. But, we spent a lot of good time together in long past & much younger days.

I will always pray for Scott. Godspeed to all of you.

We sure had some long drives back and forth until he could have a car on campus! Back in Y-town, we saw each other now and then, and after I left in 2005, we lost touch. My deepest sympathies at this difficult time in your life, and celebrate the brilliant light that Scott shined during his lifetime on earth.
