Paul Woloschak
January 17, 1932 ~ July 5, 2016 (age 84) 84 Years OldBOARDMAN - Paul Woloschak, 84, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 5, 2016, at Autumn Hills Care Center in Niles, following a long and fulfilling life.
Paul was born Jan. 17, 1932, in Youngstown, a son of the late John and Theresa Suchy Woloschak, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a graduate of Chaney High School, and was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He earned a master’s degree from Youngstown State University and was a school teacher in the Jackson-Milton School District.
Mr. Woloschak was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Youngstown. He enjoyed golfing and spending time in the sunshine, and he often played bocce at the Maennerchor in Youngstown.
Paul leaves his son, Paul John (Diana) Woloschak of Grove City, Pa.; two daughters, Karen (Joe) Brine of Girard and Tanya Joseph of Austintown; two granddaughters, Kathleen Collins and Tiara Joseph; two brothers, Michael and John Woloschak; a sister, Esther Musichuk; and seven great-grandchildren, Michael, Joshua, Christopher, Cameron, Jordyn, Jayden, and Gianna.
His wife of 32 years, Christine E. First Woloschak, whom he married July 20, 1957, passed away Jan. 14, 1990. A brother, Steve Woloschak, and three sisters, Mary Kakish, Kay Fitch, and Ann Woloschak, are also deceased.
Family and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m., Monday, July 25, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown, where funeral services will take place at 1 p.m.
Interment will follow at Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Cemetery, where Paul will be laid to rest next to his wife.
