Michael D. Repasky
January 23, 1957 ~ February 4, 2016 (age 59) 59 Years OldBOARDMAN - Michael D. Repasky, 59, passed away Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at his home following a brief illness.
Michael was born, Jan. 23, 1957, in Youngstown, a son of Richard and Rosemarie Coloutes Repasky, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a 1975 graduate of Ursuline High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy from Youngstown State University.
Mr. Repasky worked as a respiratory therapist at Vibra Hospital in Boardman. He was a member of St. Rose Church in Girard.
Michael enjoyed home remodeling, gardening, and he enjoyed the time he spent with his family, especially his children and grandchildren.
He leaves to cherish his memory his fiancee, Kelly Stanley of Boardman; his mother, Rosemarie Repasky of Girard; three sons, Dominic Repasky of Youngstown, Alex Repasky of Cincinnati, and Michael Repasky of Cincinnati; a daughter, Lexi (Justin) Black of Cincinnati; a granddaughter, Luci Black; three sisters, Mary (Larry) Brockman of Girard, Michele (Sam) Maderitz of Girard, and Marlo (Chris) Parillo of Girard; a brother, Matt (Brenda) Repasky of Girard; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Mike will be truly and sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
His father, Richard Repasky, and an infant brother, Richard Jr., preceded him in death.
Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 12, at Kinnick Funeral Home, McClurkin Memorial Chapel, 222 S. State St., Girard.
Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home, and will continue at 11:30 a.m. at St. Rose Church, 48 E. Main St., Girard.
In lieu of flowers, Mike’s family suggests memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with final expenses.
