Joseph E. Miller, Jr.

YOUNGSTOWN - Joseph E. Miller Jr., 64, of the city's west side, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 18, 2017, passing on at Greenbriar Healthcare Center in Boardman from complications of a stroke. 

Joseph was born June 19, 1952, in Youngstown, a son of the late Joseph E. Miller Sr. and Ina Weinrich Miller, and attended East High School.

Joe worked as a self-employed car detailer.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Joe leaves his daughter, Melanie Miller of New York; his sister, Sharon (Jeff) Monroe of Austintown; three grandchildren; three half-brothers, John Miller of Pittsburgh, and Jeff (Tina) Miller and Danny Miller, both of Poland; a half-sister, Lynn ( Scott) Neilsen of North Lima; good friend, Eugene Hogue of Youngstown; and advocate/friend, Elaine Lewis of Boardman.

Besides his parents, a son, Joseph Patrick, and a brother, James, preceded him in death.

Thanks of gratitude are offered to the staff with Select Speciality Hospital, Greenbriar Healthcare Center, and to Hospice of the Valley, for the kindness shown and care given to Joe.

Private services are pending. Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
