James Ware

LAS VEGAS - James Ware, 78, formerly of Youngstown, passed away April 11, 2016, at Southern Hills Hospital in Nevada.

James was born Jan. 20, 1938, in Montgomery, Ala., and lived in Las Vegas for the past 17 years.

Mr. Ware leaves his daughter, Carmen Miller-Branch of Atlanta; his son, James M. Ware of Las Vegas; his mother, Ora Lee Ware of Youngstown; three brothers, Ransom Ware of Youngstown, Benjamin Ware of Youngstown, and William Ware of Stafford, Va.; two sisters, Odena Harris of Youngstown and Dorothy Pierce of Lima; five grandchildren, Branden Ware, Indya Miller, Menyann Miller-Chavez, Raven Miller, and Christopher Miller Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren.

Viewing will take place from noon to 1 p.m., Friday, April 29, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown, where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m.

Committal services will follow at Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown.
