Georgina M. Schiff

NORTH LIMA - Georgina M. Schiff, 70, passed away early Sunday morning, Feb. 19, 2017, at Ivy Woods Manor.

Georgina was born July 8, 1946, in England, a daughter of the late John J. and Dorothy Ruane, and she came to America and Youngstown as a child with her family.

Georgina attended St. Christine Elementary School and was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School. In her younger years, she was a real estate agent in Youngstown and also worked for Golden Crust Bakery and in home health care. She lived in Las Vegas for four years, and returned to the area in 2013.

Georgina was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Her first husband, George Kurak Jr., passed away Sept. 26, 1981. Her second husband, Sidney Schiff, is also deceased.

Georgina leaves her son, George Kurak III of Las Vegas, and her grandson, Nicholas Kurak.

There are no calling hours or services.
