Elizabeth A. Troyan

BOARDMAN - Elizabeth A. Troyan, 85, passed away Wednesday morning, Jan. 4, 2017, at Beeghly Oaks.

Elizabeth, who was known to all as “Betty Ann,” was born Dec. 29, 1931, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late August and Elizabeth Jenca Troyan, and was a lifelong area resident.

Betty Ann was a 1950 graduate of Ursuline High School, and worked for over 30 years as an office worker and in accounts receivable for B&I Management in Mineral Ridge, retiring in the late 1990s.

Betty Ann was a member of Sts. Cyril & Methodius Church in Youngstown and of Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine on Lipkey Road in North Jackson, and in her younger days she volunteered her time at the Shrine.

She enjoyed watching televison, and praying the rosary.

Betty Ann leaves two brothers, Joseph Troyan of Columbus and James Troyan of Sand Dollar Island, Fla.; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several cousins.

A  brother, August Troyan Jr., an infant brother, John, and an infant sister Margaret, preceded her in death.

Family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 11, at Our Lady of Lebanon Shrine, 2759 N. Lipkey Rd, in North Jackson, where funeral services will follow at 11 a.m.

Committal services will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 North Meridian Road, Youngstown.
