Casimir J. Gasior
November 18, 1922 ~ January 12, 2017 (age 94) 94 Years OldAUSTINTOWN - Casimir J. Gasior, 94, formerly of Artmar Drive, passed away Thursday morning, Jan. 12, 2017, at Briarfield Manor following a brief illness.
Casimir was born Nov. 18, 1922, in Youngstown, a son of the late Joseph and Emilia Gasior, and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Gasior was a U.S. Navy veteran, and worked for Wean United for 40 years.
Casimir was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and was a former member of the YMCA.
He enjoyed driving his Dodge trucks, and fishing and golfing.
Casimir leaves five nieces and nephews, Deborah (Louis) Posterli, Cynthia Ciriaco, James (Tina) Gasior, Richard (Carol) Gasior, and JoAnn Brandt; five great-nieces and great-nephews, Jennifer, Christopher, Kole, Joey, and Gabriella; and his canine companion, Taylor.
A brother, Stanley, and his wife, Dorothy; a brother, Joseph; a sister, Stella Yacono; a niece, Barbara Yacono; and a great-nephew, Brian Posterli, preceded him in death.
Family and friends may call from noon to 1 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 19, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 North Meridian Road, Youngstown, where a funeral service will follow at 1 p.m.
Committal services will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
