Carole A. Keevey

YOUNGSTOWN - Carole A. Keevey, 66, passed away Saturday morning, Jan. 20, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Carole was born Oct. 30, 1951, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Warren and Nora McDonough Wolitz, and lived her entire life in this area.

She was a 1969 graduate of Chaney High School, and was a graduate of the Lewis Wineberger & Hill Cosmetology School. Carole worked as a cosmetologist for many years, owning her own business. She also worked as the office manager for the Mahoning County Dog Warden for 20 years, retiring in October of 2016.

She was a member of the Federated Democratic Women of Ohio, and of the American Women’s Business Association, Mill Creek Chapter.

Carole enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren, and she enjoyed fishing and baking.
                        
Carole leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Bridget Keevey of Youngstown and Mollie Keevey of Niles; two grandchildren, Devan Keevey and Alaina Hendricks; and a sister, Linda Manning of Liberty Township.

Carole will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Jan. 24, at St Christine Church, on S. Schenley Ave. in Youngstown, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Rd., Youngstown.
